The alta hr made reading incoming messages difficult relying too much on vertical scrolling.

The inspire hr has female health tracking and guided breathing exercises whereas the alta hr does not. But why couldn t the app recognize floor climbing as an exercise type.
One of the alta hr s big selling points is that it is small. Your device registers 1 floor when you climb about 10 feet or 3 meters. So be prepared to get the best fitbit for your wrist and needs. It does not have an altimeter.
All extra measuring devices take space. I suspect that floor climbing has a distinctive motion signature that the post processing in the app could recognize especially with an elevated heart rate.
